How to Register for OH-ID, Ohio’s Most Recent Unemployment System
Click here for a printer-friendly version of the OH-ID registration instructions. We are posting the OH-ID instructions in case there is anyone out there that hasn’t been laid off since before their system changed to the OH-ID. Please make sure you are registered and that you keep your login credentials somewhere safe where you can access them. Things to watch for in order to ensure that you are paid your unemployment compensation timely: Watch your ODJFS correspondence inbox for eligibility issues. One thing to specifically watch for is the IDENTITY AUDIT. When they request your personal documents, you must get them the documents in the time allotted or they won’t pay you and they’ll make you appeal it, which takes a long time, possibly months. There are many reasons they contact you through the correspondence inbox and usually it involves your pay being held until they receive a response from you in the allotted time. Please watch your ODJFS inbox. Also, be sure to watch the messages at the bottom of the main screen when you log in. If you are required to do the Career Profile Assessment or upload your resume and you don’t do it by their deadline, they won’t pay you.
