Lorain County Metroparks’ Sandy Ridge West officially opened with a ribbon cutting on Earth Day. 🌿✂️The park system celebrated the new trails, restored wetlands, and thriving wildlife habitat. Visitors can explore scenic paths, native plants, and newly created vernal pools—already home to chorus frogs and spring peepers. Plan your visit and see Sandy Ridge West in action.
