NEXT PAID HOLIDAYS for Unit 1 OHAP are Good Friday, April 14th and the Monday following Easter,
April 17th. Unit 1 members must work Thursday, April 13th or have an
excused absence for that day to be paid for the holiday. The next paid holidays
for Unit 3 Leadec (formerly Voith) members are Good
Friday, April 14th and the Monday following Easter, April 17th. Leadec Unit 3 members must work their regularly scheduled shift prior
to and their regularly scheduled shift following the holiday unless the absence
is due to an approved contractual absence as provided in the agreement. Unit 4
Source Providers and Unit 5 Detroit Chassis members do not have Good Friday or
the Monday following Easter off as paid holidays, per their agreement.

GENERAL ELECTION: The General Election will
be held Tuesday, May 2, 2017 from
12:00 PM (noon) until Wednesday, May 3, 2017 at 12:00 PM (noon) (24 hours).
Units 1 (OHAP), 2 (Nurses) and 3 (Voith) will vote in trailers outside the plant near the main employee
entrance off of Abbe Road.
***Units 4 (Source Providers)
and 5 (Detroit Chassis) and Retirees will vote at UAW Local 2000 Union Hall.
Run-Off Election will be held (if
necessary) at the same locations as the General Election on Tuesday, May
9, 2017 from 12:00 PM (noon) until Wednesday, May 10, 2017 at 12:00 PM (noon)
(24 hours). Further details will be communicated in upcoming bulletins and
REMINDER: GENERAL ELECTION CANDIDATES: Nomination
acceptance forms will be mailed to you and will also be available at UAW Local
2000 Union Hall. They will be accepted at the union hall between Monday, April 10,
2017 and Friday, April 14, 2017 during regular business hours (8:30 AM
to 12:00 PM [noon] and 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM). If you are mailing your nomination acceptance form, it must be postmarked/receipted
between 12:01 AM on Monday, April 10, 2017 and 11:59 PM on Sunday, April 16,
2017. Forms are also available at the union hall. We cannot accept nomination acceptance forms before or after that time
MARCH OF DIMES: There will be a 50/50
drawing in plant and a raffle with tickets ($1 each or 6 for $5) pulled every

UAW-FORD ROUGE POWERHOUSE MEMORIAL $1,000 SCHOLARSHIP:
are being accepted for dependent children of full time active UAW-represented Ford employees. Applications and

$1,500.00 Community Engagement Scholarship for Dependent Children assists UAW employees with college tuition costs for
their dependent children and promotes community involvement by requiring the
dependent to perform 8 hours of volunteer service at a 501(c)(3) non-profit
can be accepted only for courses that began after January 1, 2016 and the application deadline is June 1st.
