You will file for unemployment benefits using Mass Layoff # 1900538. Your last day worked for unemployment purposes is 10/04/2019 and your return to work date is 10/28/2019. You will need to call your processing center or visit the ODJFS web site a total of FOUR TIMES beginning the Sunday before your layoff begins (dates you need to file are listed below) because you are laid off for three weeks:

***Please note: If at any time during the filing of your weekly claims, you are given the choice of an incorrect week ending date or if you are directed to a screen that asks if you want to REOPEN your claim on that week-ending date, log out and call your processing center on Monday to file via phone and tell them you were not given the correct option to claim your week on the phone or web page. Recently the state’s system has had issues and many members trying to file their claims have had to file them via phone.

IMPORTANT NOTE: You must file by calling or getting online a total of FOUR (4) TIMES on the above listed dates to get your waiting week served or to get paid for the week, if you are eligible. If you do not follow these instructions and file timely, you will not be paid or your waiting week will not be served.
