SCHEDULE DURING VACATION SHUTDOWN WEEKS: The union office will be CLOSED
Monday, July 3rd and Tuesday, July 4th. We will
be open Wednesday through Friday, July 5th through July 7th
and Monday, July 10th through Friday, July 14th during
normal business hours, 8:30 AM – 12:00 PM (noon) and 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM.
Labor Relations schedule
during vacation shutdown weeks: Monday,

12:00 PM only. Labor Relations will be
CLOSED Tuesday July 4th, Friday July 7th and Friday, July
2000 CEDAR POINT DAYS AUGUST 4TH – 6TH. Tickets
for Cedar Point and the Cedar Point Shores Water Park and a drink wristband are
$40 each for ages 3+ and can be used between August 4th and August 6th.
The picnic and bingo will be held on SUNDAY,
AUGUST 6TH at the Convention Center between 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM.
A single meal is $15, parking is $12 ($8 off gate price) and drink wristbands
are $8 each (these must be purchased at OHAP because they will not be sold at the
gate). Tickets will be sold at
Ohio Assembly Plant on Thursday, June 15th and Thursday,
June 22nd from 6:00 AM to 9:00 PM by the main cafeteria and sold
at the union hall for one day only on Friday, July 28th from
1:00 PM – 4:30 PM. Please see

LOCAL 2000 VOLUNTEERS NEEDED FOR THE ANNUAL LABOR
DAY FAMILY CELEBRATION on Sunday, September 3rd: Volunteers are needed for setting up, working the food line and cleaning
up, all on the day of the event. The first 50 volunteers will receive a free
commemorative t-shirt. If you are interested in volunteering for this year’s
event, please contact Joe at 440.934.3151, extension 2 to sign up and give him
your t-shirt size. The deadline for
signing up to volunteer and receiving a commemorative t-shirt is Wednesday,
June 28th. Please see Linda at the union hall to donate $5
to the event and have your name published in the event program as an individual
sponsor. The $5 sponsorships help to fund the festival.

Richard T. Gosser Scholarship InvitationaL GOLF CLASSIC: One foursome
is needed from our membership to golf in Richard T. Gosser Scholarship
Invitational on Sunday, July 30th at
the Thunderbird Hills Golf Club in Huron, Ohio. The entry fee for the outing is prepaid. Those interested must
bring a list of their team members (including
team members’ addresses and phone numbers) to the union hall now
through Friday, June 23rd
during normal business hours (8:30
AM to 12:00 PM (noon) and 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM). A random drawing will be held on
Monday, June 26th at 4:00 PM at
the union hall for one team to represent Local 2000. Lost time or expenses

MEETINGS: Due to
membership action at the June 11th General Membership meeting, the
General Membership meetings in July and August are cancelled. The next General
